When introducing yourself to the examiner in the IELTS speaking test, you should aim to be polite, clear and concise. Here’s an example of a good introduction:
“Good morning/afternoon/evening. My name is [your name].”
You could also add a little more information about yourself, such as:
“I’m originally from [your country or city], and I’m currently living in [the city or country where you’re taking the test].”
Remember to speak clearly and confidently, and try to make eye contact with the examiner. Good luck!
